Welcome to 5th Grade Social Studies
Welcome to fifth grade social studies. Take a look at the bar on the left and you will see three buttons. The “Home” button will direct you back to this page. This is the home for the social studies portion of our website. The “Tests” button will direct you to a page where I will update information on social studies tests. If I type a study guide or have any other information you will need to know about a social studies test, you will find it there. Lastly, the “Projects” button will direct you to the project portion of the social studies website. We will do numerous social studies projects this year. Here I will post important due dates and resources you will be able to use. Students, you will need to familiarize yourself with the kids section of our class website. We will be using the website frequently in class.
Classroom Supplies for Social Studies
For social studies class you will need an orange folder with pockets and prongs and a orange notebook. We will use the folder to keep up with important papers in class. The notebook will be used for notetaking in class. It is very important that you only put social studies stuff in your social studies folder and notebook.
Did you know you can access your social studies book online from home? This way you do not have to carry heavy books home with you each night. You will need a login name and password in order to view our book. Click on the flag to go to the website.
